about discovery roofing - serving oahu since 1992

Our History

Discovery Roofing was founded in 1992 by Angel G. Utleg Jr.. whose roofing career began years earlier on Oahu.

Born and raised in the Philippines, Angel moved to Oahu at age 18 and attended Honolulu Community College, where he studied carpentry and roofing.

He began his professional roofing career with Selcedo Roofing, E.E. Blass Roofing, and Horizon Roofing, gaining valuable hands-on experience and advancing into a leadership position.

After ten years in the roofing industry, Angel established Discovery Roofing in 1992 with a commitment to quality workmanship, professional service, and customer satisfaction.

Today, Discovery Roofing continues to serve residential and commercial customers throughout Oahu, providing roofing solutions backed by decades of industry experience.
